All cosmetics should be stored below 30 C . Any cosmetic will deteriorate quickly and may separate in left in a hot environment for even short periods of time (eg. a car glovebox).

If storage below 30 C is not possible, refrigeration is one option.

In the short term, separated cosmetics may be renovated by thorough mixing and refrigerating. Even then many of the important and volatile essential oils may be lost.

Ideally all cosmetics should be used within 6 months of opening for maximum benefit and sealed tightly after use.
